SM Biomed Sdn. Bhd. is engaged in developing and manufacturing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). Our primary focus is on the development and optimization of new and existing process technologies, in support of the manufacturing of APIs.
Throughout the years, our dedicated R&D team has developed molecules across several therapeutic areas including Anti-bacterial, Anti-inflammatory, Anti-diabetics, Iron-chelator and Anti-hyperparathyroidism.

We excel in the following areas:

• Developing non-infringing synthetic routes/processes and resolving complex chemistry challenges.
• API process development protocol involving the principles of Quality by Design (QbD), Design of Experiments (DOE) and Risk Analysis so that robust and cost-effective processes have to be established.
• Developing safe and cost effective processes that are environmental friendly.
